In the fall of 2019, Zappos launched a partnership with HITRECORD, Joseph Gordon-Levitt's creative collaboration platform. The partnership was centered on the shared belief that the experience of creating together is everything.
core value mini documentaries
For two brands that are passionate about both creativity and community, they collaborated on a number of projects together, like this mini documentary series inspired by Zappos’ 10 core values. Zappos + HITRECORD invited the world to put their spin on the core values and were blown away by the result. After thousands of contributions from over 50 countries rolled in, we ended up with ten uniquely-inspired mini documentaries that were digitally premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.

In conjunction with the digital premiere of the mini documentaries, we hosted a 3-day private event (#SundanceLiveLabs) for hundreds of guests where we facilitated a live creative collaboration, a special performance from Matt Berninger of The National, and a special demonstration from Music: Not Impossible that allows individuals with hearing impairments to experience live music through physical vibrations.
